By nature, Jean-Claude tends to speak with a seductive undertone to everything he says. When he isn't trying, it's merely a silky lilt to all of his sentences. It's suddenly obvious how persistent this tone is when it completely drops from his voice, replaced with a sober honesty Jon really hasn't seen before.
