Jon had his own suspicions about why he had been chosen as Head Archivist given how quickly the Eye had colonized him, but he didn't want to get into Institute politics. Jean-Claude could draw his own conclusions about the timing. It seemed to Jon that the more one knew about the Eye and its ilk, the more one was likely to get involved, as though the knowledge itself were a contamination. Jon's brow furrows.
