Alas that Jean-Claude could afford to be public about his disdain for Nikolaos. He is a businessman and the Circus is very profitable, and he doesn't mind it per se as a business itself, but with few exceptions the current state of affairs is something he inherited from Nikolaos. It is taking time to shift it into something more palatable, and in the meantime he is stuck with this façade.
